Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority
The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) is the independent authority responsible for the development of a national curriculum, a national assessment program and a national data collection and reporting program that supports 21st century learning for all Australian students.
Review of Australian Curriculum - Final Report
The Review of the Australian Curriculum Final Report was released in October 2014.  In their report, the reviewers have highlighted a number of key areas they feel should be addressed to strengthen the Australian Curriculum.  The Review’s Final Report and its recommendations will now be considered by all Australian education ministers.
My School
The My School website enables visitors to search for profiles of almost 10,000 Australian schools.  It is easy to quickly locate statistical and contextual information about schools in the local community and compare them with statistically similar schools across the country.

NAPLAN (National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy) is an annual assessment for all students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. It tests the types of skills that are essential for every child to progress through school and life, in reading, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation, and numeracy. The assessments are undertaken nationwide, every year in the second full week in May.

Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority
The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) is an independent statutory body responsible to the Victorian Minister for Education, serving both government and non-government schools.

Foundation House

The Victorian Association for Gifted and Talented Children (VAGTC) is an Incorporated Association, which has as its primary interest, the welfare of gifted and talented children throughout Victoria.  The purpose of the VAGTC is to support educators, parents and professionals to teach, raise, guide and advocate for gifted and talented children in Victoria.
